I dug around the Siberian and Korean Red. The cloves are forming. In the next 3-5 weeks they will really get going. We will cut back on the watering and all fertilizing has stopped at the beginning of June. It has been an odd spring in CO. Very wet and cool. Temps are below normal by about 5-10 degrees. Some days even more drastic swings.

  1. Love to see you have a blog. I must say the seed stock I received from you last year was absolutely gorgeous. The garlic bed this year is fantastic...best i have ever had. I too have a blog...just go to www.ourlifeonthepond.blogspot.com and click on garlic in the right side menu and you will see my garlic and I also did a blog last fall on you and what I received. Thanks for all the advice and great product. Elizabeth

  2. Hello, glad I found you. I have a small farm in Eastern Tennessee. I am growing garlic for the first time. I hope that we dry out the next few weeks as my garlic is getting close to harvest. The bottom two leaves are starting to yellow. I have German White, Chesnok Red for hardnecks and Mother of Pearl for softnecks....I'm excited to harvest!
